  1. The names of the roads in our district are: - the 'Cloon Road and the 'Garshuey Road'. The Cloon Road leads from the Garshuey Road to the Monglass Road. The Garshuey Road leads from the Cloon Road to the Kildrum Road. They are very old roads, in our district. They are not used.
They pitch pennies at Cross - roads.

  2. The Moss Road, Back Road and the Pound Brae lead into the Main Road. The Back Road is very old. I do not know when they were made. They are used yet. There are no accounts as to when they were made. There were no bridges at the time. They went to straight till they came to the road. There were Mass[?] paths. The people played cards at Cross - roads.
