  1. These are the names of some of the local roads The Eddie Corner" "Mickey's Brae" "Pound Brae", "The Hill Road" and the "Back Road". The road that's called Mickey's Brae leads from Derry to Newtowncunningham. The road that's called the Pound Brae leads from the Letterkenny road to Bridgend, and the Back Road leads from the Letterkenny road meet the Pound Brae. These roads are very old. They are still used. The locals do not know when these roads were made.
    There is a bye road in my district called the Ball Boe.
    At crossroads people gather to play cards and to pitch pennies.
