  1. There were two men standing up on a hill one day. One of them was Corney Mac Ginley and the other was Hugh Gallagher. They saw the priest coming up the road with an over-coat on him. Corney remarked that it would be difficult to steal the priest's coat. Hugh said that he could steal it.
    He went down to the road and told the priest that he had a Confession to make. The priest suggested that they would go onto the nearest house but Hugh said they would not as he had a great sin to tell and he was afraid some one would hear him. Then they walked up the hill and when they were up a piece the priest said they would sit down but Hugh insisted on going on another piece.
    It was a very hot day so the priest took off his coat. At length they came to a big rock and
