    Patrick Kelly of Lanela who is still alive and lives about a mile from the school was always thought to be the best walker in this locality. Before the railway was made from Derry to Letterkenny he was harvesting in Scotland and came across steerage on the scotch boat, and himself and two fellows from Glendowan named Mr. Cay walked from Derry to Letterkenny.
