  1. There were three men lived one time together, their names were, Hudden, Dudden and Donnal. Hudden and Dudden wanted to kill Donnal, and they did not know how to get him killed, and at last they thought on a plan, that when they would get him in bed they would kill him. So Donnal heard of this, he thought that he would exchange beds with his mother, and when Hudden and Dudden came to kill Donnal he was in his mothers bed and Hudden and Dudden did not know, and they killed his mother, and then Donnal carried his mother on his back, down to the town to bury her, and before he buried her he left her standing up on the road side, and put a stick to her back and went into a Public House to get a glass of whiskey, when he went into the house he said "that he was in a hurry, because his mother was up the road, there was a traveller in the shop, and he said that he would go up for her, but Donnal said that
