  1. (continued from previous page)
It builds a comfortable nest of moss and lines it with hair and feathers. The robin is very tame. In winter when the frost and snow are on the ground it will come into the kitchen where it is sure to get crumbs.
The robin tried to remove the nails from the Cross and that is how it got its red breast.

It makes its nest in the eaves of houses in holes and in trees It makes a good nest of moss and lines it with feathers. It is very careful in selecting a place for its nest and likes a warm, cosy place for it.
