  1. Here is a snapshot of a “gentry bush” near the fort at Mortland’s field in Ballygonnigan. There is a supposed tunnel leading from the fort (50 yds distant to this fort.)
    LOCAL DON'TS
    1. Don’t cut ‘gentry bushes.’
    2. Don’t plough the land on the edge of them.
    3. Don’t let farm animals near them.
    Here is a snapshot of a ‘gentry’ bush on the lands of Mr. Paddy Anderson, of Lisnamulligan called “The Powl Hill.” It is triangular in shape, about 50 yards long and covered with dense shrubbery bushes. It is beside the fort in the same townland.
