Sixty years ago there was an old fort near to Carrickmagrath.

Sixty years ago there was an old fort near to Carrickmagrath. There is a well beside this old fort. It is called the Fairy Rock Well. It is still believed that fairies drank from this well. It is situated in a small field with bushes all around it. The Fort is about sixty or seventy yards from the well.
