There is a very old tree in Carrickmagrath.

There is a very old tree in Carrickmagrath. It is that old no one around ever remembered it a young bush. It is said that every night at twelve o clock fairies are seen dancing around this tree and playing the nicest music ever was heard. One time a woman took a branch from it and her land and luck was taken from her.
