    the player who had been christened 'My Man Jack' must be ready on the (instrument) instant with a protest "Me, me, sir?" - Say "White Cap"
    And 'White Cap' must not be slow with "Me, me, Sir?"
    Failure to respond on the instant to the accusation is punished by forfeit. Some possession, watch, penknife, cap, must be handed up to the leader and will not be returned until the owner has for example, washed his face with ink
