Swellings. A cure for swellings is to heat chickweed and put it to the swelling and hold it to it for a while.
Ringworm. Ringworm is a very common disease around this place. Some people say that Iodine is a cure and others say treacle and baking soda.
A man lives in the town of Letterkenny who can cure ringworm his name is Davey McCally. He makes an ointment which only has to be applied three times and on some occasions only twice. This ointment is put on every other day.
