    He walked all day until it came to night, and he got no work or no place that he could get lodging for the night.
    He did not know where he was so he walked on through hills and dales, until he saw a light a good piece in the distance.
    He went over to it and knocked at the door, and an old woman came out, and he asked her if he could get lodgings for that night. He told her his story how he was, and where he was was, and then she said that he could get lodgings for the
