"The Forth" 9. 12. '38

Near the road which runs from Ballynashanagh, to Maghera Warden is an uneven mound, which is never tilled. It is in a field of Mr. Foster's of Drumfad. It was a burial place for unbaptised children in olden times.
"Hugh McAteer, Drumfad Ballynashanagh remembers to see the burials when he was a child"
This mound is called the Forth.
Hugh McAteer, farmer.
