  1. There is a little hill about one and a half miles from our school situated in the district of Moyle Hill. This little hill is known by the name of Cnoc na Ghrá.
    A great many years ago a giant was being pursued from Barnes Mór Gap. His mother was ill in bed and not wishing to leave her behind he took her on his back and started northwards.
    He continued to run with his burden until he reached Lough Salt Mountain. He was so exhausted that he could not carry her any longer
