    needles. The type of cloth used mostly here are tweeds, serges and corderoys for men's suits and trousers.
    Linen is got from flax and from it linen sheets, tablecloths and shirts are made. In many homes socks and stockings are knitted by hand.Spinning is still carried on in Gweedore and other places n the west of Donegal. At the death of a relations it is the custom to wear black for mourning. At feasts or weddings ankle - length frocks are worn, made from satins or silks.
