  1. The local names of graveyards around this district are Ramelton, Killydonnell, Tully and Glenalla.
    The graveyard of Killydonnell is situated on a slope running down to Lough Swilly and is about three miles from Ramelton. Ramelton old graveyard is situated facing Church Street and the new graveyard runs with a slope facing down to the county road and is situated in the Bank Terrace.
    Tully graveyard sits right up on top of a height overlooking Ballyare. It is about four miles from Ramelton. This graveyard also runs with a slope towards the road. It is a very old burial place with a large number of wooden and concrete tombstones. There is, at least, one vault in this graveyard and some important people are said to
