    The little girls made necklaces out of rowan tree berries. They string them with a needle and thread.
    They also make daisy chains. A hole is made in the stem of one daisy and another is pulled through it.
    Cages are made out of sally rods to catch blackbirds.
    Gerns are made out of horse hair to catch snipes.
    Hats are made from rushes and also whips.
    Egg cups can be made from silver paper.
