    Belville, it lies to the west as you go through.

    A song was written locally by Micky Duggan, a blacksmith of Churchill entitled "Beautiful Churchill".
    A verse of this song is as follows:-
    Belville, it lies to the west as you go through
    Plantations grand around it stand
    Most beautiful to view.
    In Derryveigh, a lovely place doth lie
    Where four and forty families lived
    In days gone by.
    But now in these cold winter days
    Is a residence for swan
    Where these four and forty families
    Were forced to leave their land.
