About thirty five years ago a man named Mick McGinley when about to emigrate to America composed a song entitled the "Hills Of Glenswilly". This song became famous in later years and is now sung on gramaphone records by the famous singer John McGettigan. McGinley was born at Breenagh, Glenswilly, about seventy years ago and is still alive. He was a farmers son and lived on a farm.
