    16) The robbers came to our house and we were all at home. The house went out of the windows and we were all a ta’em? Catching herring with net.

  2. The houses were all built together and there was no glass at that time: it was striffing that the people had in the windows.
    It happened that this evening was calm and it was pitch-dark at three o’clock. It was so dark that the men were attending to their cattle with candles in their hands and there was not the least flicker in the candles as it was then quite calm.
