  1. Seán and his mother lived together in a thatched house. One Hallow Eve his mother and another woman were making "poundies" and Sean went out to catch his black horse.
    As he was catching the horse he heard voices calling "Give me a horse!" Give me a cup". So he went to the spot where the voices were, and he saw many little men standing, and they were drinking out of little cups. They gave Sean a cup, and he drank it.
    Then they began calling again "Give me a horse!", "Give me a horse!" and before he found they were all mounted on horses, and Seán leaped on his black horse also.
    They galloped on fast, and when Seán asked where they were now, they told him they were in Spain. After a while he asked again where they were, and they told him they were in Greece
