    she saw a beautiful Castle in Doe.
    A few days later she set out with her daughter Kathleen for their native place where she got possession of money and numberless flocks of sheep and cattle. She was so rich that she did not know what to do with her money, so she got the best masons in the county to build Doe Castle. The mortar was mixed with bullocks' blood.
    One of the chieftains of Clann Mac Suibhne came from West Donegal, and married Kathleen, so the McSwineys owned the Castle of Doe until the English came and took possession of it.
