    flags. There were more half doors in olden times that are now.
    There was turf and wood and very little coal used for a fire in this district. It was candles that was used for light at night. The candles were called tallow and they used flint stones to light the fire.
    I got most of this information from Mr William John Johnston of Glenmaquin.
