- There was a man from Tullyhullion going to a dance one night. When he was up at certain "swingbars" at Kilpheak a terrible fear took him.
There was a clump of furze at the side of the road and he could not look at them. The hair stood on his head, and he began to sweat. He went into a house and his face was as white as death. - There is a house in Drimacanoo called, "Donnellys". Long ago several people used to go rake in it.
