    John Timerlean was a little boy who lived with his Mother. One day his Mother sent him out to herd.

    John Timerlean was a little boy who lived with his Mother. One day his Mother sent him out to herd. There came a shower of hail, and John went under a dock leaf for shelter.
    A bull came and eat the dock and swallowed John Timbellean too. His Mother searched a long time for him. She could not find him.
    At last she thought that the bull killed him. She sent for a Butcher and he killed the bull. But he could not find John Timerlean.
    When the Butcher was leaving he took with him a pound or so of beef. It happened that John was in the piece of beef the butcher bought.
    As the Butcher was on his way
