“There is supposed to be fairies in a field of John McDaid's of Drimacanoo.”
There is supposed to be fairies in a field of John Mc Daid's of Drimacanoo. In a field above the house there are a lot of bushes. Many people heard them playing sweet music. It would not be right to cut those bushes or the fairies would leave that place and curse it. - There was a man one time and he went out to the hill for fir, Suddenly he saw a black man standing up with horns on him. He looked again and saw a black goat and he lifted a piece of fir to hit the(continues on next page)
