    1. There is a rock on Edward Hunter's hill which the priest and Bishop blessed. This farm is situated in Drimnashammer.
    2. There is a rock in the same townland on Mrs. Doherty's farm on which a priest's and Bishop's head and body are carved.
    3. When a heifer calves you are to put a palm branch and a penny at the bottom of the pandy when you are milking her for the first time. This savs her from witchcraft.
    4. When a hen goes through the street with a straw on her tail there is a stranger coming.
    5. If you are going on a journey and meets a red-haired woman or a magpie you will have no luck that day.
    6. There is a fort on James Mc Grenera's farm
