  1. There are not many people in the County Donegal at this time who have the cure for the cancer. The only people that I know that have it are the Pattersons of the Race End. The are two men in this family at the present and one of them has the cure.
    The cure consists of a plaster which is put on the affected part and kept there until all signs of the cancer has disappeared. What the ingredients of the plaster are no one knows. The cure is kept a secret and is only divulged to the eldest son or failing a son to the next eldest surviving brother.
