  1. In a district known as Hill Head there was a house long ago which was supposed to have been haunted. I never saw this house as it was tumbled down before I was born.
    People lived in this house at one time who were very much attached to it. Owing to debt however they were compelled to leave the house and it is said that they were so sorry leaving that they put a spell on the house.
    Old James Robb told my grandfather that one night when he was visiting in the house he heard a noise as if the dresser and all the delph with it had fallen to the ground. But when he turned and looked at the dresser it and the delph were in the same position as before just as if nothing had happened.
