    The late Lord Leitrim lived in Mullroy mansion convenient to Carrigart. He was a great landlord and owned a large amount of property. He was a very cruel gentle-man and he evicted a lot of his tenants without cause and every one arround, for miles dreaded him. He was so c ruel that the people got so afraid that they decided they would give him a short time to live.
    So one morning he and his coach man were out driving and two Fanad men lay in watch for his coming. All of a sudden they fired three shots.
    They did not kill him out
