  1. If you meet anybody with red hair on
the 1st April you will have bad luck.
A mould above your breath you'll be rich
    before your death.
It is bad luck to return for anything you forget.
If you sweep the dust out of the house you are sweeping out the good luck.
If you were born on Pentecost Sunday you will be drowned.
If you break a mirror you will have no luck for seven years.
If a woman's name does not change when she gets married she will have a cure.
If a cat walks in front of you it is good luck.
If a black cat walks in front of you at night it is said to be the devil.
If you look into a mirror after 12 o'clock at night you will see the devil.
If you hear tapping on the window it is the sign of a death.
If you are born webbed footed you will never be drowned.
If you wash your hair on good Friday you will never take a cold.
