  1. I live in the village of Islandmore, which is situated to the north-west of Mount Nephin, in the parish of Addergoole, and the barony of Tirawly.
The village comprises some 150 acres, which is divided into 6 holdings, each of about 25 acres. The number of families is six, the population 37. Marley is the most common name.
Some 35 or 40 years ago there were 8 additional families in the village. Their names were Tom Kelly, Michael Howley, Owen Dever, Pat Foster, Michael Reape, Peter Geraghty, Peter Joyce and James Forde. Some of these died, and the others emigrated to America
