  1. Red murrain in cattle can be cured in the following way:-
    Get two ounces of tea and leave it drawing in a tea pot in about a pint of water beside the fire for fifteen minutes. Then take it and strain it and allow it to cool. Next put it into a bottle and give it in one dose to the animal affected.
    If the animal is not cured within twenty-four hours the treatment should be repeated. My father had a case of red murrain about two years ago and one dose of above cured her.
