  1. The chin-cough can be cured in the following way:-
    Pull two or three ribs of hair from an orphan's head who had never seen its father. Then boil them in milk and when they are boiling for about ten minutes take them up and strain them out of the milk. Then the patient should drink a wine-glass of the milk and it will check the cough.
    My cousin who had the chin-cough was cured in that way.
