  1. Get some mountain sedge and put it into a pot or an oven and boil it. Then let it cool and strain the juice and put it into a bottle and leave it there for a few days before using. Shake the bottle well and take a wine glassful of it every morning before your breakfast for fifteen mornings.
    This cure was tried by Miss Celia Joyce who had a severe cough and she found it very successful.
