This old boreen can be seen at the present day near Lismore. It is called boran nallsom. This is an ancient road west wards towards Lismore. It forms the southern boundry of the towland of Drumroe. It crosses the Blackwater at affane. It is called borar as Naom because St Casthaghs monks used to walk there.
