  1. I am a bold undaunted fox,
    That never before was on the tramp,
    My rent and taxes I always paid,
    Until of late, I was betrayed.
    By one, who was a fool or knave,
    He then said, I should quit the place,
    And there no more, show my face.
    II
    As soon as he ejected me,
    I know it was then time to flee,
    I stole away his ducks and geese,
    And murdered all his drakes.
    III
    But soon there was a great look out,
    I tightened up my garters,
    And then away I went,
    I made my den in prime good land
