  1. The local roads, which are in this district are Killbree Road which leads from Lismore to Cappoquin. Ballygalone Road which runs also from Lismore to Cappoquin. There is another very old road passing from Lismore to Affane. It is called "bóthar na Naomh" It is called that name because long ago the monks of St. Carthage travelled on it very much
