    the necklace home with her. It was said, that it was that necklace which brought the girl and her family bad luck, because it is supposed to belong to a mermaid and she should have left the necklace where she got it.
    The mermaid is supposed to have the faculty of speech, sight and hearing and it is said that she is a very good.
