People say there is an unlucky hour in Whit Sunday.
If a person is born at Whitsuntide he is counted unlucky. If he struck you in anger the blow would be fatal.

Saturdays flitting is a short sitting. If you give away money on Monday you will be giving it away all the week. Every day except Tuesday is lucky for putting down hatching eggs.
