  1. Michael Rogers of Garristown Co. Dublin is a churn maker and makes dash churns for the people of the locality. His father Mick Rogers lived in Tobeen Bog two or three miles from Garristown. He was a churn maker too and it was from him his son learned the trade. The father died years ago and the thatched house they lived in fell down and Michael went to live in Garristown. He buys oak timber and makes the churns and the dashes out of it.
