  1. A fire broke out in a stable belonging to Mr. Sherwin, Hollywood, Naul, about a year ago. The people were at Mass and when they were going they left the fire lighting. A spark must have come out of the chimney and lit on the thatch.
When they came home there was a blaze out of the thatch and the three horses inside were squealing and prancing. Mr. Sherwin let the horses out and Mrs. Sherwin got holy water and sprinkled it over the stable and the blaze went out.
