  1. Our parish church, Damastown, Naul, Co. Dublin is dedicated to St Canice who is the patron of the parish. He did not build the church and no one about knows what connection he had with the place.
    There is a field and a well in the parish called after him, but neither of them is near the church. The water of the well is a cure for a headache.
