  1. About one hundred and fifty years ago, a man went to hunt wild animals on the Glenveagh mountains. He took with him a hound, a fox-terrier, and a bull-dog. When he went about three miles, he stopped at a little lake called "The Misty Lake." Such a thick mist met him that he had to return.
As he was coming home, the three dogs left him, and began to fight with a wild animal. The Hound and the Fox terrier were killed, and the bull-dog had to return home, having some of his flesh torn off.
When he went into the house, he went mad, and had to be shot.
