A Local Cure for Warts

The people of this neighbourhood have a cure for warts, and it is very simple. They cut a potato into four equal parts and rub these on each wart. The potato is then hidden carefully, and if any body finds it, the warts will return on the hands. As the potato rots the warts disappear.
