  1. People in this locality have an old cure for a sprained wrist.
    They get the skin of an eel and put it on a board to dry. When dried, it is taken off and put on the wrist till the pain ceases. My father proved this for he had a sprained wrist one time, and he put the skin of an eel on it and was soon cured.
