Quite near to my school is a wood, called the Rappa, Saint Columba was here, cutting trees, to erect a little hut, one day, when a rush stuck in his eye, and hurt it. He was angry, and said rushes would always have withered tops, after that.
We find this prophecy very true, because rushes still have withered tops.
