  1. Dún na Saighead
    In the olden times a land of fairies used to go down to a strand in lower Cruit, and have great nights dancing and singing.
    There was a man living in Belcruit at this time and he used to play for the fairies.
    One night the fairies stole a bonacht girl, but this fiddler was determined to rescue her.
    When they were returning home from their night's enjoyment the fiddler took the girl with him and he made a ring round himself and the girl. When the fairies saw they could not get inside the ring they struck the girl dumb.
    About a year later the fairies came again and the fiddler
