    There was a band of Mollies' men in the Rosses too. They weren't friendly with the Mollies' men of this district either. It happened that the two bands met in Ballinacarrick Fair one day. The Hub-bub got up and the Letter band chased the Rosses' men. The following fair day the Rosses men came up again to have revenge. The scrimmage that day ended in the sticking of a man with wool shears. He belonged to the Rosses' Mollies' men.
