  1. In olden times there was a shop in Corr another in Balachric and two in Toome. Johnny Boyle had one of the shops in Toome and Neil O’Donnell had the other. Johnny O’Donnell had the shop in Balachric. John Gallagher had the one in Corr.
    In olden times the cattle market was chiefly held in Ballinacarrick. In olden times also people who could not pay for their goods had to give work to pay for them.
